Basic model: Cox regression adjusted for total energy intake (log-transformed continuous variable) and for each score, and stratified by age (1-year categories), sex and centre.
Multivariable model: Cox regression adjusted for total energy intake (log-transformed continuous variable), alcohol (log-transformed continuous variable), smoking status (never, former, smoker, unknown), height (tertiles), weight (tertiles), physical activity level (inactive, moderately inactive, moderately active, active, missing) and for each score, and stratified by age (1-year categories), sex and centre.
