Systolic blood pressure (SBP) in C57BL/6J and galectin 3 (Gal-3) knockout (KO) mice infused with angiotensin II (ANG II) or vehicle for 8 wk as measured by a computerized tail-cuff system. At baseline, SBP was similar among genotypes. ANG II increased blood pressure similarly in C57BL/6J and Gal-3 KO mice.
