The bacterial growth in various organs of IL‐17A KO mice after mycobacterial infection. Wild‐type C57BL/6 or IL‐17A KO mice were inoculated i.t. with 1 × 103 CFU of M. tuberculosis H37Rv, and the CFU in the lungs (A), livers (B), and spleens (C) was determined on days 30, 60, and 120 after the infection. The statistical analysis was performed with Student's t‐test. The asterisk (*) indicates that there was a significant difference compared with wild‐type C57BL/6 mice.
