Figure 1: This is ECG is recorded during syncope. Initially, there is atrial fibrillation, average rate 125 bpm. There is sudden ventricular rate slowing. There is an S1-Q3-T3 pattern and inverted T waves in the anterior precordial leads, which are findings consistent with pulmonary embolism.
