EF24 inhibits HCC cell viability in a dose-dependent manner. (a) The compound structure of EF24. (b) EF24 treatment inhibits the cell viability of HCCLM-3 cells. (c) EF24 treatment inhibits the cell viability of HepG2 cells. HCCLM-3 cells and HepG2 cells were treated with different doses (0–8 μM) of EF24 or 50 μM H2O2 (positive control) for 12 h; the cell viability was tested by MTT and expressed as the percentage of absorbance of treated wells compared with that of untreated wells.
