Deletion of CCR2 is not protective against γHV-68 exacerbation of pulmonary fibrosis following bleomycin. C57/Bl6 mice were first challenged with bleomycin for 14 days and either subsequently infected with 5 × 103 pfu MHV-68 or left uninfected for a further 7 days (21 days total). A: lungs were harvested 7 dpi (21 days postbleomycin) and total lung-associated collagen was quantitated by hydroxyproline assay.
