(B) miR-K1 suppressed the activity of luciferase through its binding site in hnRNPU 3′UTR. 293T cells were cotransfected with the miR-K1 mimic or the scrambled control, a firefly luciferase reporter containing the WT or mutant 3′UTR reporter, and a Renilla luciferase expressing construct. The firefly luciferase activity of each sample was normalized to the Renilla luciferase activity. The mean of normalized luciferase activity of scrambled control in each experiment was set as 1.
