Wild-type and p53-KO littermate mice were injected with 400 mg/kg vancomycin (n = 8) or saline as control for 7 days. Whole tissue lysate was analyzed for p21, Bax, cleaved caspase 3, caspase 3, and ß-actin by using specific antibodies. (A) Representative immunoblot analysis.
