Fig. 1 — Phylogenetic relationships between O. tunisiensis Shr3^T and related environmental clones in the phylum Proteobacteria based on 16S rRNA gene sequences. At the time of writing, strain Shr3^T was the only cultured species within the class Oligoflexia. The tree, generated with MEGA 6.0 [34] using the neighbor-joining method [35], is based on a comparison of approximately 1130 nucleotides.
