The moduli of the extrafibrillar matrix of wet bone predicted from the simulations were around 27.0GPa under tension and 55.3GPa under compression. For dry interface, the moduli of the extrafibrillar matrix predicted from the simulations were around 39.9GPa under tension and 65.1GPa under compression.
