Long-term protection induced by Pa-OVA vaccines against B16-OVA melanoma. (a) Experimental setting. Mice have been injected 6 times (2×/week) and challenged with 2 × 105 B16-OVA cells 100 days after the last immunization. Tumor growth was monitored every 2 days and mice were killed when tumor reached 150 mm2. (b) Percent survival (based on 150 mm2 tumor surface) of mice challenged with tumors at memory phase. n = 5–7 mice per group. Log-rank test OSTAB S54-OVA and KBMA S54-OVA compared with OSTAB S54-Ei P = 0.0096 and P = 0.0005 respectively). Pa, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
