Between-group higher-level analyses during response inhibition (NoGo minus Go) showed significantly reduced fMRI activation in the left inferior frontal gyrus corresponding to Brodmann area’s 45/46/47, left insula, bilateral cingulate gyrus, left striatal regions (putamen and globus pallidus) and right inferior parietal lobule at Z> 2.0, p<0.05 corrected for whole-brain multiple comparisons.
