New glycans are released from the old cell wall with typical delay time ${\tau }_{\mathrm{delay}}$. Simulations for four different values of ${\tau }_{\mathrm{delay}}=$ 0, 0.9, 9, and 18 min (from left to right). For longer ${\tau }_{\mathrm{delay}}$ the larger is separation between synthesis and membrane leading edge that is shown as red cylinder.
