(A) Opn4Cre/+ mice were intercrossed with R26floxstop-TeNT mice that have the TeNT gene integrated into the Rosa26 locus downstream of a floxed transcriptional stop sequence. Expression of Cre recombinase in ipRGCs excises the stop sequence to activate TeNT expression irreversibly.
