Representative photomicrographs of immunohistochemical technique against CD79 antibody in spleen and lungs from BTV-4-infected and Mock animals. IHC against CD79 antibody, 100X. Immunoreactivity against CD79 was mainly present close to the remnants of the white pulp in the spleen of infected mice, being diminished in BTV-infected mice compared to controls. A small cluster of CD79+ cells (arrow) was observed in lungs of BTV-infected animal, within a pneumonic focus.
