Immunoreactivity against CD79 was mainly present close to the remnants of the white pulp in the spleen of infected mice, being diminished in BTV-infected mice compared to controls. A small cluster of CD79+ cells (arrow) was observed in lungs of BTV-infected animal, within a pneumonic focus.
