(A) A plasmid expressing GST-RMP was cotransfected with constructs of different FLAG-tagged truncation mutants of RMP, as indicated. Cell lysate was immunoprecipitated (IP) using anti-FLAG M2 affinity resin, and the bound GST-RMP was detected by anti-GST antibodies. IB, immunoblotting. (B) Bacterially expressed full-length FLAG-RMP or mammalian expressed and partially purified FLAG-RMP mutant proteins were mixed with bacterially expressed and affinity-purified GST-RMP. The protein complexes were precipitated by anti-FLAG M2 affinity resin, and bound proteins were detected using anti-GST antibodies.
