Three different measures of accuracy are used: the Sorensen Dice Index (SDI), the average distance to leaf tips (with standard deviation), and the number of leaf breakages. The three initial segmentation methods, listed in Fig 1, are considered. Data includes accuracy measures before and after application of our algorithm for improved segmentation.
