Data represent mean (±SE) of 3 independent experiments. (B) VIN activity was assayed from frozen ground tissues of 5–6 week-old soil grown plants (leaves and roots) or 9-day-old seedling roots. Data represent mean (±SE) of 2 (seedling roots) or 3 (leaves and roots) independent experiments. No significant difference was determined between Col-0 and cwin1-1 by a Student's t-test (P < 0.05).
