Oocytes microinjected with Kif2a or control siRNA were arrested at the GV stage in IBMX for 24 h, and incubated in IBMX-free M2 medium for 8 h, followed by double staining for α-tubulin, γ-tubulin. In the control siRNA-injected group, γ-tubulin was localized to the spindle poles at the MI stage, while in the Kif2a siRNA-injected group, γ-tubulin was dissociated form abnormal spindle poles and dispersed into the cytoplasm.
