(A) Dendrites were severed in neurons expressing GFP-Nmnat-B-delta N without prior axotomy. Quantitation of dendrite degeneration is shown at the right. In control (yw) and Nmnat overexpressing neurons, the number of intact dendrites was scored 18h after dendrites were severed.
