CgFlr1 and CgFlr2 expression increases flucytosine resistance in C. glabrata cells. Comparison of the susceptibility to inhibitory concentrations of several chemical stress inducers, at the indicated concentrations, of the C. glabrata L5U1 strain, harboring the pGREG576 cloning vector (v) or the pGREG576_MTI_CgFLR1 or pGREG576_MTI_CgFLR2 plasmids, in BM-U plates (50 μM CuSO₄ supplemented) by spot assays. The inocula were prepared as described under “Materials and Methods.” Cell suspensions used to prepare the spots were 1:5 (b) and 1:25 (c) dilutions of the cells suspension used in (a).
