(A) IL-17 induces IL-8 production in MKN28 cells. Cells were cultured in the presence or absence of IL-17 (1 ng/ml) for 24 h. At the end, cell culture supernatants were collected and analyzed for IL-8 content by ELISA. Data indicate mean values ± standard deviations from four representative experiments. (B) IL-17 induces phosphorylation of ERK 1/2 MAP kinases in MKN28 cell cultures. Western blot analysis of phosphorylated and total ERK 1/2, JNK, and p38 was performed on MKN28 cells stimulated with IL-17 (1 ng/ml) for 0, 15, 30, and 60 min.
