Seven-day-old stationary phase B. burgdorferi culture was treated with drugs or compounds (50 μM) for seven days, at which point the viability of the bacteria was determined, as previously described¹².

Residual viable B. burgdorferi was calculated according to the regression equation and the ratio of Green/Red fluorescence obtained by the SYBR Green I/PI assay, as previously described¹².
