(a) The Cu2(AzoBPDC)2(AzoBiPyB) membrane, which is initially in the trans state, is irradiated with ultraviolet-light for time intervals of 100 and 200 s, resulting in an increase of the H2:CO2 selectivity. (b) The membrane is initially in the cis state and is irradiated with 455 nm for time intervals of 30 and 50 s. (c) Correlation of the H2:CO2 separation factor with the ratio of cis azobenzene.
