Cytotoxicity of CGX derivatives to HEK293 cells. The cytotoxicity of CGX compounds to human HEK293 cells treated for 24 h was determined by an MTT assay (see Materials and Methods). For each concentration of each compound tested, triplicate wells were set up. The y axis (percent growth) indicates the MTT signal in a drug-treated sample as a percentage of that in a no-drug control. The average of three biological replicates is shown. Calculated EC₅₀s are listed in Table 1.
