Enzymatic activity of ribokinase in the presence of different carbohydrates. Reactions were conducted at a temperature of 75°C in 0.05 mL of 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0, containing 0.4 mM ATP, 1 mM carbohydrate (no carbohydrates in the control reaction), 1 mM KH2PO4, 5 mM MgCl2, 50 mM KCl, 0.15 μg of RK.
