Effects of Thai fruit extracts on H2O2-induced ROS production in HEK-293 cells. (a–c) Cells were treated with vehicle (control), 10 and 100 μM vitamin C, or 10 and 100 μg/ml fruit extracts for 6 h. Cells were then incubated with 200 μM H2O2 for 30 min. The intracellular ROS production was quantified, expressed as a percentage of the control, and shown as the mean ± SEM (n = 4). P < 0.05 versus control; # P < 0.05 versus H2O2.
