Effects of Thai fruit extracts on the mRNA expression of antioxidant enzymes. (a–f) Cells were treated with vehicle (control) or 100 μg/ml fruit extracts for 6 h. After treatment, the total RNA was extracted from cells and the mRNA expression was analyzed using specific primers. The relative Mn-SOD (a), GPx-1 (b), catalase (c), CuZn-SOD (d), GRe (e), and HO-1 (f) mRNA levels were quantified and shown as the mean ± SEM (n = 4). P < 0.05 versus vehicle.
