Probability is given as a percentage (%). Rows, WT amino acids; columns, each of the 20 possible amino acids or a stop codon (*). The calculation is for a change in a single nucleotide. The calculation takes into account the amino acid sequence and assumes an equal probability for each possible DNA codon. Note that all entries in this table correspond to mutation probabilities in one direction.
