Significant differences were observed for the area involved (* P = .036) and mononuclear cell (MNC) infiltration (** P = .009) criteria. PMNC = peripheral blood mononuclear cell. (b) Total colitis score was calculated by summation of the scores for all criteria. Graph shows colon segments with 19F signal had significantly higher total colitis (* P = .006) and dysplasia (** P = .013) scores than did segments without 19F signal. Error bars indicate standard error of the mean.
