FOXO3a directly regulates VHL expression. A–C, chromatin immunoprecipitation analysis confirmed that FOXO3a directly interacted with the VHL promoter region harboring the FOXO DBE (A and B), which was confirmed by semiquantitative real-time RT-PCR assays (C).
