Incubation of HMW oAβ releases Aβ species that decrease hippocampal β₂AR levels. Hippocampal slices were exposed for 4 h to fresh or 2 d-incubated SEC void volume fractions of brain AD2, or aCSF, or 10 nm of synthetic human Aβ(S26C)₂ dimers.
