Hippocampal subregion volume in patients with aMCI is independent of ApoE-4 status. A. Patients with aMCI showed significantly reduced volume of the left entorhinal cortex but did not show differences in volume of the left hippocampus or in any of the hippocampal subregions compared to control patients. B. Volume of the left entorhinal cortex, left hippocampus or any of the hippocampal subregions did not differ between between ApoE-4 carriers and ApoE-4 non-carriers.
