Detection of PrPSc in mouse brains. Brains of mice inoculated with a healthy brain homogenate (mock infection) or an ME7 or RML inoculum were homogenized on days 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150 postinoculation and then treated (+) or not treated (−) with PK prior to Western blot analysis.
