Various M. tuberculosis strains were grown in the minimal media containing (a) 1 mM H2O2 and (b) 50 μM FeCl3 + 0.25 mM H2O2. These experiments were performed thrice and the mean values ± standard errors of the means are plotted. WT: M.tbH37Rv, BKO: ΔbfrB mutant, AKO: Δ bfrA mutant, DKO: ΔbfrA and ΔbfrB double mutant, Bcomp: ΔbfrB mutant complemented with bfrB gene and Acomp: ΔbfrA mutant complemented with bfrA gene.
