An oxygen polarograph was used to record oxygen consumption of whole yeast cells in distilled water over time in the presence of 100, 200, or 300 μM DB75 (A) or pentamidine (B) as indicated. Oxygen consumption was recorded from whole yeast cells in distilled water treated with 2 μM CCCP alone, 2 μM CCCP plus 300 μM DB75, or 2 μM CCCP plus 300 μM pentamidine.
