Degree maps kALS < HC and kALS > HC are superimposed on top of MNI slices in order to map clusters of decreased and increased connectivity in ALS, respectively. The degree kALS < HC (kALS > HC) of a voxel/node v is the number of pairs (v, w) in Gt, exhibiting significantly decreased (increased) functional connectivity (FDR < 0.05), where w can be any other voxel than v.
