Higher uromodulin-to-creatinine ratio is associated with lesser rise of serum creatinine in patients with AKI. Figure shows the trend of mean (SD) serum creatinine values over 72 hours in patients with AKI. Each point represents the mean serum creatinine for patients in the respective uromodulin-to-creatinine ratio quartile (Q) preoperatively (0 hours) and 24, 48, and 72 hours postoperatively. The lines on either side of the point represent the SDs.
