PDE inhibitors increase phosphoHSP20 levels in a time‐dependent fashion. SH‐SY5Y cells were incubated with indicated PDE inhibitors (A) Rolipram (10 μm), (B) Sildenafil (1 μm), (C) PF‐04447943 (25 μm) and (D) BAY 73‐6691 (25 μm) over a time course of 6 h. Cell lysates were prepared and blotted for phospho‐HSP20. Levels of phospho‐HSP20 were normalised against tubulin and increases plotted against control, untreated samples n = 3, errors are SEM.
