Thickness of the mesothelial layer and collagen deposition in DR3+/+ and DR3−/− mice after inflammation induced by multiple applications of Staphylococcus epidermidis supernatant (SES). Fibrosis of the mesothelial layer was induced by four i.p. injections of SES.
