Subcellular localization of GFP can be modified using protein tags. We examined the effect of localization tags fused through a universal six-glycine linker, N- or C- terminally, to a GFP reporter integrated into chromosomal site 208a. Subcellular localization patterns of GFP appended to different localization tags (Supplementary Table S2) as imaged by confocal fluorescence microscopy.
