Quantitative analysis of CD3+ and CD3 cytokine-producing cells in tracheal and lung tissue sections1

n=3 mice % of IL-13+ cells (out of total CD3+ T cells) ± SEM % of IL-17+ cells (out of total CD3+ T cells) ± SEM # of CD3 cells / total IL-13+ cells (percent) # of CD3 cells / total IL-17+ cells (percent)
Trachea 1.59 ± 0.11% 1.06 ± 0.24% 1/53 (1,89%) 0/48 (0%)

C57Bl/6 mice were treated with HDM/CT o.ph. on d0 and received HDM o.ph. challenge on d7. Tracheas and lungs were analyzed on d9. IL-17+ or IL-13+ cells were manually identified and co-staining for CD3 was determined. Tissue samples from 3 mice were analyzed.
