Etiolated soybean hypocotyls were treated with either 1 mM AgNO₃ or water (control) for 24, 48 or 72 h, and tissues were used to evaluate (a) GmCYP1 (b) isoflavonoid biosynthetic gene (GmCHS8, GmCHI1B1, GmIFS2, GmPT) transcript accumulation using quantitative RT-PCR. Error bars indicate SEM of two biological replicates and three technical replicates for each biological replicate. The data were normalized against the SUBI-3 gene for GmCYP1 and CON4 gene for isoflavonoid genes. Asterisk (*) indicate significant difference between the samples using Student’s t-test.
