Effect of ASC transplantation on ConA-induced liver injury in mice. (A) The scheme of the in vivo experiment of murine liver injury model. Mice were injected with ConA to induce acute liver failure. After 0.5 h, the transplantation of ASCs was performed. Sera were collected at 8 and 24 h after ConA administration. At 24 h after ConA administration, mice were sacrificed and liver tissue specimens were resected for histological and mRNA expression analysis. (B) The level of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in ConA-induced mice with or without ASC transplantation. Sera were harvested at 8 and 24 h after ConA injection (n = 6). The data are shown as the means ± SD values (*p < 0.05). (C) Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining of histological sections of the livers in mice treater with ConA (a, b) and ConA + ASCs (c, d). Scale bars: 200 μm (a, c), 100 μm (b, d). Representative images are presented (n = 3).
