CT: Chronic tonsillitis, AOPP: Advanced oxidation protein product, SD: Standard deviation, CI: Confidence interval. Data are presented as mean ± SD for each group. Data were tested using the unpaired t test. A P value of less than 0.05 was considered as statistically significant. Since the 95% CI did not include zero, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups.
