A549, PC-9, and NCI-H1975 cells were treated with Gefitinib, PA-MSHA, or Gefitinib plus PA-MSHA at the indicated doses for 24 hours. A. The cell cycle distribution (sub-G1, G0/G1, S, and G2/M) was determined by flow cytometry; and B. the proportions of cells in each phase were expressed as percentages. The experiments were performed three times with similar results. *, P<0.05. C. Levels of RB, E2F-1, Cyclin-E, and P21 were determined by Western blotting. GAPDH was tested as a loading control. Results are representative of three independent experiments. The split panels on the blots are from the same membrane with the same exposure.
