Table 1. ANOVA analysis showing the significance of effects on Fla of rainfall concentration (Cla), changes in imperviousness (Impch), rainfall concentration upstream (Clup), changes in imperviousness upstream (Impup), and their interaction (indicated by the column).

  1970–1990 1990–2010 Δp Om changes
Rainfall Concentration (Cla) 2.20E-16* 2.20E-16* + −2
Change in Imperviousness (Impch) 3.63E-05* 7.02E-07* + −2
Cla: Impch 2.94E-05* 2.20E-16* + −2
Rainfall Concentration upstream (Clup) 2.20E-16* 2.20E-16* 0
Change in Imperviousness upstream (Impup) 2.20E-16* 1.59E-03* 12
Impch:Clup 6.50E-03* 6.13E-04* + −2
Impch:Impup 9.46E-11* ns 9
Clup: Impup 2.02E-05* 8.42E-03* 2
Cla: Impch: Clup 5.13E-03* 8.42E-03* 0
Cla: Impch: Impup 1.70E-04* ns 2
Cla: Clup: Impup ns 5.71E-02* + −2

The last two columns show the differences in p-value (Δp) and the changes in the order of magnitude (Om changes) between the two timeframes. For the Δp column, the negative sign implies a decrease of the significance in the 1990–2010 respect to 1970–1990, positive sign indicates an increase in the statistical significance.

*Significant at the 0.10 probability level. ns stands for not significant at the 0.10 probability level.
