The 3D representation is viewed from a posterolateral angle. The cerebellar peduncles can be seen after removing a cube-shape volume having as its sides a sagittal plane going through the left lateral ventricle, a coronal plane just posterior to the temporal poles, and an axial plane at the level of the medulla. Note the decussation of the SCP bundles which could be reconstructed with the tractography method used.
