The cumulative probabilities of neonatal deaths in the US, Austria and Finland: While these probabilities over the ages from 1 day to one year are roughly comparable for subsets of families with comparatively high socioeconomic status (the advantaged groups), mortalities for infants in the US become increasingly greater from ages one day to one year for subsets of families with comparatively low socioeconomic status (the disadvantaged groups).
