(A) Primary glial cells were mock-treated or treated with the indicated concentration of GA, AG490, or JSI-124 for 1 h, and then co-cultured with activated mouse lymphocytes for 24 h (lymphocytes: glia = 1:0.1) in the presence or absence of 100 ng/ml LPS. The levels of IL-2 were measured by ELISA. Graphs are representative of at least three independent experiments, and the data are given as mean ± SD from three different samples. (B) Mouse lymphocytes were treated with 0.5 μg/ml anti-CD3e for 1 h, and then cultured without (a) or with (b) mixed glial cells in the presence or absence of GA for 1 h. The cells were then mock-treated or treated with 50 ng/ml LPS for 48 h, and the levels of IL-2 were measured by ELISA.
